Chanel Blanc Essential Huile Demaquillante Eclairecissante Lightening Cleansing Oil

This rectangle-like bottle is like the current Lightening Nanolotion and the product itself is replaced by Lightening Make-Up Remover in some places.

Launched in 2006  with porcelain skin Michelle Buswell in the ads, I fell in love with the ad but was the photo bleached for she’s usually photographed with freckles and tanned skin? Her eyes remind me of peacock.

I’ll try to find more pics of this range..

The previous season’s face is funky Shalom Harlow but looks cool here.

The cleansing oil works to remove waterproof makeup! :) It’s oily when I first warm it up on my palm and face but after splashing water – and rubbing my face, the skin looks clean.

Sometimes though, there are traces of dirt, mascara or foundation that still couldn’t be removed. Had to remove them with another round of cleanser & toner. It doesn’t cause any breakout to my skin.

I’m using it with Dior whitening cleanser and Garnier Pure toner. There are people who say cleansing oil need not be expensive – you can just use Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil. Yerr.. I hadn’t used J&J Baby Oil for years and though I love the smell of the shampoo, I didn’t like to use the baby oil.

The big bottle lasts quite long. Don’t need a lot, just between 20cents to 50cents coin size to wash my face. I don’t know if it helps to whiten though..
