What makes you feel beautiful and radiant?

Here’s an unclear picture from Freeman Beauty’s website:
Freeman Facial Enzyme Mask Pineapple

You would have thought official websites should have clear, no need to be big, but clear pictures of its products..

Was looking for AHA/Glycolic Acid mask for skin to remove dead cells and make my skin glow healthily. I used to use Freeman cleanser, remember it was in purple packaging but I had stopped using that many years ago. It was good at the starting (as most skincare products are, sigh) but not effective by the end of the tube.

There are not many products that contain AHA/BHA without alcohol here. At this price, it’s a steal.

Ease of application: What I like about this is it’s in squeeze bottle, enough for my face comes out easily. Each of the bottles have a picture of the fruit of the mask.

Packaging: Bright colours, sunny, fruity. 6 different fonts! A bit too much, contradicting styles of formal vs pretty fonts but not a major issue with me.

The tagline is Feeling Beautiful.. Ooh!

The claim:

Natural ingredients for clean, soft, smooth skin? Made with natural, botanical ingredients, new Freeman Feeling Beautiful is a full range of skin and body care products to help you look and feel your best.

This enzyme mask, with Pineapple extract and AHAs, gently exfoliates while lightly moisturizing, leaving your skin soft, supple and younger-looking.

It has “natural ingredients”. So does almost all beauty & skincare products! What kind of claim is that?

Ingredients: Water, Bromelain, papain, ananas sativus (pineapple fruit) extract, glycolic acid, lactic acid, camomilla recuitta extract…

Enzymes are biomolecules that catalyze (i.e. increase the rates of) chemical reactions. Holly. Plain English please. I supposed enzyme here is to break down dead skin cells from good clean skin cells or for anti-inflammatory?

Oh, Bromelain is the enzyme used here.

To use:

Apply generously to clean face and neck, avoiding eye area. Leave on skin for 10 minutes. Rinse well with warm water.

Use at least twice a week.

Using this does clear and tone my skin. There’s a bit of scrub/granules so after it’s nearly dried, I splash a palm of water and scrub if I have the time.

The good thing is it’s not tested on animals. So who/what was it tested on?

I love to eat cooked pineapple but this doesn’t smell like real pineapple, just a hint of canned pineapple – doesn’t smell overpowering. For people who are sensitive to fragrance, better to test this first on thicker area like hands. It doesn’t have any bad side effects to me.

It doesn’t change my skin to totally smooth & clear. I still get 1 or 2 pimples agh but it’s less serious than not using this. However, since it’s not working as much as I want, I’d not repeat purchase.

+ easy to use, colourful packaging, gently exfoliates while lightly moisturizing, leaving your skin soft, supple and younger-looking, clear and tone my skin, can be used as scrub, affordable

| natural pineapple? smell is ok

- doesn’t change my skin to totally smooth & clear

  2. Hi, was just browsing for pictures when I stumbled on your Picasa album, which led me here. Like you, I have a dream of working in fashion, but my career sort of took off in another path.

Just out of curiosity, what are you working as now? Career or computers? :)

Great pictures, and great inspiration by the way,

    • Vanessa – Still in computers haha.

Which industry are you working in now?
