Knock, knock

While wanting to try several tops in a department store, I saw all of the fitting rooms had several people queuing up. Some of them were holding at least 6 items! The maximum items allowable is usually 3 only. Metrojaya, Jusco and Isetan usually have their staffs to control the volume right in front of the fitting room area but this time, there wasn’t anyone to check. Jusco also employees # of clothes tag, which is given to the customers before they go in to try the clothes and must be returned to the staff to ensure nothing is stolen in the fitting room.

So I walked around the same floor looking for the least queuing people.

Hint: The fitting room near/for the formal wear is usually the least occupied simply because the apparels are expensive and they are for special occasions.

There were times when I had to wait for someone who wanted to preen in front of the mirror, posing like a bad supermodel wilting, get the approval of 4 friends or slut around for the boyfriend/girlfriend or have hanky panky giggles together in the fitting room. Ew.

Hint: Knock on the door if the person takes a long time. Or get the staff to do so or ask if there’s another fitting room you could use.

Sensitive to clothing materials

16 November 2007 at 4:01 pm | In Fashion, Health, HowTo | Leave a Comment

Wool may cause itchiness/discomfort if you have sensitive skin.

A customer asked, “Is it meant to wear with a t-shirt or shirt inside?” He scratched his neckline.

Maybe had chest hair and that reacted with the wool..?

Synthetic materials may cause skin peeling too.

If you are allergic to certain clothing materials, you could wear a singlet or another layer inside.

Better yet, check the ingredients materials in the label before you buy or try it on. The label can be found at the colour or at the sides around the waist for top. For bottom, it’s usually at the back of the waist or at the sides around the hip.
