Valentino Spring 2008 RTW
5 November 2007 at 2:16 pm | In Catwalk, Fashion, Gallery, HowTo, Links, People, Review | Leave a CommentNo one in the fashion industry would miss reviewing Valentino Spring 2008 RTW & Fall 2008 simply because Valentino had decided to retire in January 2008.

Natalia Vodianova (VIVA)
sweet pastel pink & violet
feels like 80’s
huh, she’s actually smiling like a mother (which she is)
usually she’s pouting seductively for CK

Caroline Trentini (MARILYN)
belts that are wider at the side and thin at the middle in dark colours
make the waist appear smaller
plus with wrap dress
the wearer will look even slimmer & taller

Julia Stegner (MARILYN)
wide sheer lace embroidery of the same colour in dress

Michaela Kocianova (ELITE)
you can see the frills at the ends

Michaela Kocianova (ELITE)
now you can see there are tight pleats too
pleats with air inside always make the section appear bigger
so if you want bigger breast, choose a top with pleats there

Tatiana Lyadockrina (MARILYN)
big lace

Caroline Trentini (MARILYN)
cute bow
to focus on the breast

Gemma Ward
several other designers have 1/2 moon cutouts
frankly they remind me of clowns
but it’s sure fun to run the fingers through these cutouts

Flavia De Oliveira (VIVA)
gorgeous mummy

Valentino Garavani
Lots of glamorous gowns, polka dots (not posted here) and no pants! Nothing totally different from other collections but this collection is certainly pretty. There are some stiff gowns, reminiscent of Gwyneth’s pink ballgown.
